1. Seal radial clearance adjustment is too large, the shaft seal leakage along the shaft flew into the bearing chamber, resulting in oil with water. Unit maintenance, in order to avoid starting during the high-speed rotation of the shaft due to critical speed vibration or rotor thermal expansion and touch the shaft seal tines. Generally increase the shaft seal seal clearance adjustment. In the normal operation of the unit affected the tightness of the shaft seal, causing the shaft seal leak into the bearing chamber along the shaft, which is the root cause of water in the oil.
2. Shaft seal lodging, reducing the sealing effect of oil in water.
